Why use our software?
Ark began life as bespoke software to satisfy the needs of a single engineering practice. Working closely with that practice and exploring their specific needs it has grown in scope and capability to include timesheets, planning and control, communications and invoicing.

- All the information relevant to each job is only entered once. Any amendments need only be made once.
- Word processor makes producing and saving letters and documents much quicker.
- Phone calls can be better dealt with by anyone as everyone can access any job and look at the notes or 'next action' information.
- Messages are sent to other staff members through Ark rather than handwritten notes. These can be added to the job notes and are automatically linked to a job.
- Save time by finding jobs easily either by job number, 'favorites', searching words or names in any part of the job (including the notes) or clicking on an appointment.
- Less time is wasted looking for paper files as queries can usually be dealt with without it.
- The time sheet makes it very easy to log time to a job (there is a history of jobs looked at during the day to remind you if needed) so there is less chance of uninvoiced hours.
